Created as a gallery for a small group of NJ-based photographers, Ithaca Galleries  showcases landscape, wildlife and travel images from around the world. Our name comes from the poem Ithaca and its simple message that happiness is found in the journey rather than by reaching the destination. A great reminder to take the time and enjoy life's journey, but it's also our photography philosophy - we're about the creativity, collaboration and challenge of the process more than the award-winning image. Our journey, not the destination.

From iconic mountain vistas to urban cityscapes, from flora and fauna to the small details that go unseen, our galleries present diverse images from North & South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. Each subject a source of interest and inspiration that caught the eye. Each photograph a precious moment in time, captured uniquely by the photographer.  Each shot a vivid reminder of an adventure taken and a dream made real.  We hope you enjoy them!

Conservation

Preserving life's precious moments through photography finds a strong echo in our collective need to conserve our environment for future generations.  At Ithaca Galleries we are  doing our part by donating 5% of all sale proceeds to a small group of organizations whose missions protect the world we love.  Read more about them below.
